18.cifr/1984.astrom.relay-autotuningA method for automatic tuning of simple regulators is presented. The method is based on relay feedback to identify the ultimate gain and ultimate period of the process, followed by analytical computation of PID parameters to satisfy specifications on phase and amplitude margins.
